I'm Serita, an Independent Travel Agent based in Weymouth (Dorset), with a huge passion for travel! Having spent many years travelling the world as a professional athlete and latterly as a travel consultant I have been so fortunate to have visited over 40 countries (and counting)! My favourite destination
I could name so many but if I have to pick three...
My favourite place to visit so far has been Thailand. The amazing ecosystems that I was lucky enough to walk and swim through; whilst experiencing the wonder of being close to Turtles, Lionfish, clownfish, whale sharks and more, mixed with a fascinating, friendly and enriching culture, makes Thailand once of the best places on Earth! Being at one with nature and culture is definitely a yes in Thailand. A must is visiting Kho Phi Phi.
Secondly, Greece. The stunning food, scenery, history, friendly locals and for me happy memories of my honeymoon in Santorini will always make Greece a very special place. The good local wine also makes it a place full of joy!
Thirdly, Bulgaria. The unique history, amazing culinary experiences of local favourite foods such as a Kavarma, the richness of the culture mixing with both winter (skiing in Bansko) and summer fun on the Black Sea, makes Bulgaria one of the most enriching places in the world.
